As per official data, the basic monthly salary at this level starts from around ₹1,44,200 and can go up to ₹2,18,200, depending on seniority and experience.

In addition to the basic pay , officers at this level are entitled to various allowances including: 

•Dearness Allowance (DA): A cost of living adjustment allowance.

            •House Rent Allowance (HRA): Assistance for accommodation expenses.
